Suggesting a place
Tell us what the place is, where it is and why readers would visit. We confirm the name, location, operator and any features we mention against the business’s or operator’s own published information before a profile goes live. If we can’t verify something, we leave it out or label the profile as a research lead. Suggestions don’t need to be your own business.
Submitting an event
Send the title, date, start and end times, venue, organizer and any ticket or registration details, plus the organizer’s web address where the event is announced. We publish only events with a confirmed date, show times in Eastern Time, and remove events automatically once they end. Recurring events are listed once per confirmed date—not as an endless series.
Partnerships
Businesses and organizers can propose editorial coverage, a hosted visit, a sponsored feature or a clearly labeled partnership. Sponsored work is always marked as sponsored, and place listings are never paid. We can’t promise positive coverage, rankings, audience size or publication, and we don’t publish testimonials or performance claims we can’t support.

Your submission is stored privately—it is never published as-is and is not visible to other visitors.

An editor checks it against official sources and may contact you by email with questions.

- Does it cost anything to be listed?
- No. Place profiles and event listings are free and are never paid placements.
- Can I edit my business’s profile?
- Send corrections through the form. We update a profile once we can confirm the change against your own published information.
- Do you cover businesses outside Huntersville?
- Occasionally, when they are genuinely useful to Huntersville readers. They are labeled “Nearby” with their actual town.
- How quickly will I hear back?
- We read every submission but cannot promise a reply or a timeline. We contact you only if we need more information.
