Where AI is used
AI may be involved in:
- the community matcher, which sends the preferences you type to an AI service provider and returns suggested communities
- monthly journal articles, which are drafted with AI from curated topics and published automatically on a schedule
- illustrative images
- drafting and editing some guide text
Human review
Matcher results are checked automatically against our community list but are not reviewed by a person before you see them. Scheduled journal articles are published automatically using editorial rules and may not be reviewed by a person before publication.
Limits
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading. Do not rely on it for consequential decisions such as buying, selling, building, financing or choosing a school; verify with the organization or a licensed professional.
Your submissions
Do not enter sensitive personal information into the matcher. We do not make claims about the AI provider’s retention or training practices beyond its own terms.
