It is the place to start for a sense of Huntersville as a town rather than a shopping destination.

Huntersville has more than one center. Birkdale Village is a privately managed mixed-use district near Sam Furr Road; historic downtown is the civic heart around Veterans Park and Town Hall. They feel different and serve different occasions.

Getting there and around

Historic downtown centers on Huntersville-Concord Road and Main Street, with Veterans Park at 201 Huntersville-Concord Road serving as the Town’s main event lawn. Distances are short, but check sidewalks and crossings before planning a walking route between stops.
